BRD Gun Works was founded on two principals. To provide purpose driven customized services and solutions for the AR platform that fulfill the mission specific requirements of the end user. To achieve this, education and an understanding of the AR platform is paramount.

It is my belief that the more my clients understand about the AR system, the more they will be able to make educated decisions and become more capable users of the AR platform in general. By providing the technical knowledge behind why components are used is critical to building a system that best meets the end-user’s purpose.

To aid in accomplishing this I have decided to do a blog and create posts and/or share other info from within the industry to help individuals form a better understanding of the AR platform. To help dispel myths, to provide facts or factual references, and to provide insight.

Building and servicing an AR platform firearm is more than just putting the right parts in the right places. To have a dependable gun that will perform and run it is about having an understanding of operational principles, how parts work together, how some part designs will not work together, how it all works as one component, and the need for meticulous attention to every aspect among other things.

It is my goal to publish one post per week here. At times there may be more, and at other times there may not be any. But check back frequently and see what’s available. If you find it useful please feel free to share with others.
